How to use your Ballistics Table

Ballistic Table

Range

Zero your scope at one range, mark the zero position. If the drop is -5, you go "Up" 5 clicks to adjust. The elevation (top) turret will have an "Up" arrow somewhere, make sure you know which way is up. Instead of adjusting the scope you can aim a certin number of inches high or low. -5" means aim 5" hight.

Wind

For wind, just aim off in inches. Twice the wind speed, twice the number of inches. 10 mph is "Leaves and small twigs constantly moving, light flags extended."
This is wind from the side, estimate the wind speed coming from left or right. Wind from in front or behind you ignore.

Angle

This means shooting uphill or downhill. Uphill is almost exactly the same as downhill. You get 30°, and 20°, but you can change the 20° number to anything you want. If you shoot on flat ground you can cut of the 30°, and 20° with scissors.

Atmospherics

Humidity doesn't matter, temperature and altitude do. Hot air or high altitude air is thinner, so less drop. I suggest printing 4 tables, hot/high, hot/low, cool/high, cool/low. For a self-laminating tag, you can have 2 tables back to back. If you can slide the paper in and out of the tag put in all 4, with the current conditions to the front.

How accurate is the table?

The drop clicks are more accurate than your scope's adjustment usually. A cheap scope's clicks are not always exact. Your BC and muzzle velocity need to be correct. Temperate and Altitude need to be right too. Your zero has to be spot on.
Wind is very hard to estimate exactly.
Apart from that, the table should be very good, limited by your range estimation. With a cheap laser rangefinder and a luggage tag you shood be good out to 400 yards. Of course, your group size might be getting too large at 400 yards for hunting purposes, but that is up to you.
